Principal’s Message

High School Principal’s Message

With each new school year, I am excited to anticipate what the new school year will bring. I eagerly anticipate the sounds of student’s chatter as they walk up and down the halls. Our Mission Statement is, “Leading students to Christ, preparing them for life.”  Our greatest desire is for our students to experience the character of God and discover His faithfulness for themselves.

The Lord has truly blessed our efforts here at Burton.  We can see God’s presence in our past and He promises to be with us in our future. We have a wonderful, caring staff that loves the Lord and cares deeply for His children. Each teacher is unique and it is our prayer that each student connects with at least one of the staff members in a personal way. We will continue with the Olweus Bully Prevention program in an effort to make our campus a safe and happy place for all children.  Utilizing a program is never enough to keep our children safe and happy.  We also need to continue to pray for God’s hedge of protection on our campus and for our students to open their hearts to accept Jesus in their lives and reflect His character.

Please join us in prayer as we continue to serve our community.  It is my greatest desire that Jesus will return soon! I pray that our children will share that same desire as they come to grow closer to Him this school year.

Elementary & Junior High Principal’s Message

Burton Adventist Academy is a fully accredited PreK-12th grade academy located in Arlington, Texas. I attended Burton as a student from 1988-2000 and have had the privilege of serving my alma mater since 2009.

Our number one priority at Burton Adventist Academy is helping the students develop a meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ. We have an uplifting chaplain program and most days there is at least one pastor on campus. Students are given small group Bible studies, baptismal classes, weekly chapel services, and two to four weeks of prayer services each school year.

The staff at Burton Adventist Academy are all fully certified and many teachers have their master’s degree. Our teachers are dedicated to bringing Jesus into the classroom making each student feel loved, valued, and appreciated. Both the elementary and junior high have a number of special events and field trips throughout the school year.

I’d love the opportunity to introduce you to Burton Adventist Academy and answer any questions you might have about our excellent, Christ-centered program.
