Outreach Opportunities


Assisted Living Facility (Pre K – 5th)

Led by Mrs. Gaban:
Students go once every semester and put a program on for the Senior citizens at an Assisted Living Facility.

Adopt a Grandparent (1st – 2nd)

Led by Mrs. Gaban:
Not only will the students be visiting the Assisted Living Facility, but they will also adopt a grandparent.They will visit the elderly every other month and make a letters or other gifts to present to them.

Tone Chimes (6th – 8th)

Led by Mrs. Gaban:
Students in this group will visit once a quarter at the Adult Day Care Facility and put on a musical program for the senior citizens. Also once a year they will perform for a church in the area.

Showcase Sabbath (Pre K – 5th)

Led by Mrs. Gaban:
Students lead out once a quarter in the congregation doing the opening hymns, call to offering, welcome and prayers for Showcase Sabbath at the Arlington Church.

Showcase Sabbath (6th – 8th)

Led by Mrs. Gaban:
The 6th through 8th graders are in charge of Children’s Story for Showcase Sabbath at the Arlington Church.

Chorale Outreach (High School)

Led by Mr. Simpson:
High School students on Sabbath visit different Adventist churches in the area to sing and lead out in devotion at church.

Drama Outreach (High School)

Mission Trip (High School)

Burton Adventist Academy teams with the Arlington Adventist Church and Maranatha for international mission trips. Burton has traveled to Costa Rica, Belize, Peru, Dominican Republic and Panama to build churches, schools, provide free medical care, vision and dental services and hosted countless children eager to learn of Christ at Vacation Bible School. Our next trip happens in 2018.
