With each new school year, I am excited to anticipate what the new school year will bring. I eagerly anticipate the sounds of student’s chatter as they walk up and down the halls. Our Mission Statement is, “Leading students to Christ, preparing them for life.” Our greatest desire is for our students to experience the character of God and discover His faithfulness for themselves.
The Lord has truly blessed our efforts here at Burton. We can see God’s presence in our past and He promises to be with us in our future. We have a wonderful, caring staff that loves the Lord and cares deeply for His children. Each teacher is unique and it is our prayer that each student connects with at least one of the staff members in a personal way. We will continue with the Olweus Bully Prevention program in an effort to make our campus a safe and happy place for all children. Utilizing a program is never enough to keep our children safe and happy. We also need to continue to pray for God’s hedge of protection on our campus and for our students to open their hearts to accept Jesus in their lives and reflect His character.
Please join us in prayer as we continue to serve our community. It is my greatest desire that Jesus will return soon! I pray that our children will share that same desire as they grow closer to Him this school year.
It is the mission of Burton Adventist Academy to provide meaningful attention and a wholesome influence for every student at Burton, supporting spiritual, mental, and physical development. Collaboration between parents and teachers is also a priority as we prepare our students for the future. Together, with the parents as our partners, we motivate high academic achievement and seek to teach, through content and example, the meaningfulness of a living relationship with Christ.
Burton Adventist Academy is committed to providing a Christian value-based educational experience for its students. As a parent, if you believe this has not been provided to your student, please let the school administration know of your concern.
