Partnering For Eternity Scholarship

PFE Program Overview

Burton Adventist Academy is proud to offer the Partnering for Eternity Scholarship program in partnership with the SFFC Foundation for the 23-24 school year. Our Partnering for Eternity Scholarship program pairs students with seniors in the community to ease senior isolation and teach students the value of service. This program seeks parents and students with a passion to serve others, and admits families based on this criteria. If this sounds like a good fit for your family, please begin by reviewing the PFE Overview document here to learn a bit about the basics of the program.

How to Get Started:

  1. Read through the program expectations included on this page, and download the Student Packet (K-8 or 9-12) to review full program guidelines and expectations

  2. Prayerfully consider as a family if this program and the commitments it requires are something you are passionate about

  3. Complete the application here

  4. If approved, locate a senior in your community to partner with and present the program to them to gauge their interest (this can also happen before applying)

  5. Attend the required orientation (you are welcome to attend an info session prior to applying for the program)

  6. Create a student account on the PFE website here

  7. Email Mr. Long the name and contact info of your senior mentor after sharing basic info about the program with them. We’ll then reach out to share specifics from our end prior to the first visit.

  8. Begin weekly visits once the student account is approved by the PFE Coordinator

  9. Complete online reflections within 24 hours of each visit (reflection guide)
