Parent Application Support

As we seek to offer support for parents as they navigate the application process, we invite you to join us for the upcoming support session that works best for you.

Who’s Invited: All families, regardless of current school enrollment!

What We’ll Cover: We’ll do our best to help you get started with the application process and if you come with the required documentation, perhaps even finish! To best prepare:

  1. Download the official TEFA Parent Application Checklist in English here or in Spanish here

  2. For students with disabilities, download the TEFA Disability Certification Form here, as well as the instruction to complete the form here, and lastly the instructions for your child’s provider to assist them in completing the form here

  3. Visit the official TEA application & support site here to apply on/after Feb. 4 and to stay informed on any updated forms or information.

  4. Visit the Odyssey Support Site here with questions and use their SmartAssist chat bot (very good)
